In 1996 several couples
in the ward decided to take a trip to visit the LDS temples. We
had a bus driver in our ward that we wanted to have drive us.
We went to Manti, St. George, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles,
and Oakland. While on the trip several of us talked of a trip
to Canada. I mentioned that I would look into the cost of going.
Though the idea in my mind was forgotton, a few months later people
started asking when we were going to go. The following summer
we visited temples in Boise, Portland, Seattle, Cardston, Idaho
Falls and Logan. We did other fun things as we passed through
these fun places such as a lunch cruise in Portland and lunch
at Lake Louise in Canada.
After our Canadian
adventure, the same group began to ask when we would visit Palmyra,
Kirtland, and Nauvoo. We took a fun trip to the Hill Cumorah Pageant
in 1999. Since then we have enjoyed 3 or 4 LDS temple trips a
year with our fun little travel group traveling to LDS temples
all over the country.
In 2008 we visited Branson and Texas where we visit the Oklahoma
City Temple, as well as Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston. We also
returned to Tuacahn to see "Les Miserables " and "The
Sound of Music". Over Labor Day we returned to Nauvoo, where
Chrissy's aunt & uncle are serving a mission. We concluded
our year by enjoying a Hawaiian cruise where we attended to Hawaii
and Kona temples. What fun we had!
In April of 2009 we will visit the new temples in Idaho. We also
return again to Tuacahn to see "Footloose" and "Annie".
We turn right around to leave for Northern California where we
visit the Reno Temple, Fresno Temple, Sacramento Temple, and the
Oakland Temple. We will also spend a night at Lake Tahoe and a
day driving through Yosemite National Park. 2009 will be a lighter
year as we prepare for our Nashville trip in 2010, along with
an Alaskan Cruise after the new Vancouver Temple opens.
All we do is get together
to attend the temples, and have fun as a group doing it. So come
with us as we travel to the LDS temples. You may come on a temple
trip that we have already planned or make a suggestion for a trip
in the future.
Please don't hesitate to email

trip for consideration. You may also contact us on our toll free
